"Pulss" is a practice of mindfulness and vigilance conceived in the intersection of rhythm and movement.
Throughout development of "Pulss" choreographers - Līva Nora Apšeniece and Ģirts Dubults -  and drummer/composer - Dāvis Grīnhofs - were curious about stillness of mind, consciousness and alertness: What is a state of pure consciousness? How come attention provides opportunity to not make a mistake? How can notion of practice instead of performance encourage performers and artists?
For now the research of practice has concluded in a dance performance "Pulss" that took place in the context of the experimental art festival "Optižūns 2024" in Pārsteigumkalns, Ērgļi, Latvia.
Choreographers and performers are part of the dance collective "SIXTH"* that together with "Optižūns" produced the dance performance "Pulss".

*“SIXTH” is a collective of dance artists who have developed a similar worldview during their studies at Latvian Academy of Culture (Contemporary Dance Program). Since graduation in 2021 they continue to be together to strengthen the culture of contemporary dance in Latvia and create performances that shed light on current topics in society, as well as offer the opportunity to hear stories that have personally touched the artists.
